"Mike Berners-Lee knows more about carbon footprints than anyone else in the UK", wrote one expert in the field. Anyone who has read Mike's book, "How Bad Are Bananas? The Carbon Footprint of Everything" can't help but agree.

In the book, Mike – a leading carbon consultant – analysed the footprint of everything from a single text message to the Iraq War. Moreover he did so in a style so fun and engaging that everyone from 10:10 founder Franny Armstrong to Bill Bryson sung his praises. The Daily Mail described it as "an extraordinary and often astonishing guide", and the Guardian ran an online serialisation

Mike will be speaking about the key insights in the book – and what he's been thinking about and researching since. He'll be looking not only at numbers but also the circumstances in which numbers are or aren’t helpful in driving behaviour change.

Mike is director and principal consultant at Small World Consulting
