Duncan Clark

Strategy Director

Job title: Strategy Director.

Actual job: Working across all kinds of things, including web development, content and scoping out future projects.

10:10er since: May 2009.

10:10 plan: Installing double-glazed windows, replacing an old boiler and creating a new vegetable garden.

Favourite 10:10er: The Foreign Office – even if their sign up caused confusing questions such as how to measure the carbon footprint of the Zagreb Embassy's district heating system.

Guilty pleasure: Cut flowers.

Best/worst 10:10 moment: Looking on in amazement as 10:10 was debated in Parliament only weeks after launch.

Background: Duncan first became interested in environmental issues when researching a book on ethical consumerism. He later wrote the Rough Guide to Green Living and edited the Rough Guide to Climate Change. In 2006, Duncan became a consultant environment editor at BBC Worldwide and now works part time on the Guardian environment desk. He also co-founded the GreenProfile book imprint and runs GoGreenLights, a website selling energy-saving bulbs in support of environment charities.
