My memories of school are, by and large, fond ones but I, probably like many people, have not had any contact with these places of my childhood since I left. That’s all about to change though - I've emailed my old school to suggest that they apply to take part in Solar Schools.

Being involved in the project makes me totally biased, sure, but I wish there had been something like this to get involved in when I was at school.

Checking the school’s website I’ve found my favourite science teacher is still there. The rest of the names mean nothing to me but it has been cough a few years since I left!

I'm hoping my old science teacher remembers me ... I imagine teachers only really remember the unruly students and the overachieving whizz-kids! I didn't fall into either of those categories but even if he doesnt remember me, the Solar Schools idea speaks for itself!
