Christmas
comes early for Solar Schools!

And they still found time to help out with your Christmas shopping...

It may be getting chilly outside, but at our Solar Schools across the UK, things just keep heating up (I'm sorry, I'm sorry, blame the festive season)! Our first school has just hit its target - huge congratulations to E.P. Collier Primary School in Reading!

This is a brilliant result, and it's all thanks to their incredible donors, who pitched in generously to help a school do something amazing. Santa would be so proud!

Our schools are all at different stages in their journeys and and we want to see more of them hitting those targets! In just the last few weeks we've had school teachers being gunged for the greater environmental good and the radio debut of pupils from New Town Primary - shouting about Solar Schools on Reading 107.

If you've been anywhere near as busy as our schools, then your plans to be super organised with your Christmas gift buying might well have fallen slightly by the wayside... Luckily, we're not here to judge, quite the opposite in fact - we have the perfect gift suggestion!

This year, why not put your present budget into something that really makes a difference - a tile on the virtual roof of one of our Solar Schools.

Make a donation for friends and family this Christmas and you can personalise a little patch of a school's interactive roof with a message and a picture, ready for them to unwrap on the 25th! We have schools in Cambridge, Norwich, the Scilly Isles and a positive plethora in Reading - New Town Primary, New Christ Church Primary, Battle Primary and Kendrick High.

You give a little - your friend, the school and the planet get a lot! Head to www.solarschools.org.uk to get started!

A school smashing their fundraising target in record time + your christmas shopping sorted =  a cosy, warm feeling inside on cold winter nights.
