What's
your favourite seasonal recipe?

Send us your tastiest recipes and we'll feature the best in our new low carbon food project

We know that it can be a bit of a challenge to eat seasonal, local, low-carbon meals all the time, and it's difficult to be sure what food is having the greatest impact on our carbon footprint. When are beetroots in season? Should we be eating fresh tomatoes in March? Can there really be such a thing as English wine?

10:10's four-strong intern team is working on a neat idea that will make it easier (and tastier) to eat in-season, but we need your help bringing the project to life.

Do you have a household favourite that makes the most of the best British produce? Is there a dish you make with the vegetables from the allotment that has everyone licking their plate? Do you know any handy ways to bring a boring old spud to life?  Well, we want to hear about them!

Send us your favourite ideas and recipes, sweet or savoury, to hello@1010uk.org and we’ll select the tastiest, most sustainable ones to feature.

We want to hear from all of you but please, no kiwis!
