A couple of weeks after our call-out for applications for our 10 October Pitch Pledge Party event at the Guardian, we've got some exciting news and updates to share.

From cycle paths linking rural communities and intelligent speed limiters to solar panels on council estates - we're thrilled about the variety and creativity of project applications slowly filling our inboxes. We've also had some nice ideas pitched to us from people willing to pass on their carbon-cutting skills and expertise to their fellow 10:10ers, enabling practical carbon-cuts.

If you and your friends or colleagues are still busy cooking up plans, you're not on your own: A Pitch Pledge Party hashtag kicked off a bunch of tweets indicating there's loads more to come.
