Amazing news from 10:10:10 keeps rolling in. We've just received the pictures from the launch of 10:10 Argentina, which on 10:10:10 became the first country hub in South America.
The day-long event, organised by Argentine environmental group Ambientate, focussed on education, action and celebration. Activities included:
As well as all this a tree was created from electronic waste, which attendees then "turned green" - writing their environmental commitments and wishes on leaves that were then stuck to the branches.
Amongst the masses of attendees (around a thousand of whom were given lists of tips to green their lives) was a television crew and the head of Buenos Aires city government's environmental protection agency.
It sounds like a fantastic day. Congratulations to Ambientate and welcome to 10:10, Argentina.
