Tonight, the country's biggest TV channel, VARA, will play host to a 90-minute 10:10 takeover. "10:10: The Great Test" is a quiz show, produced by Endemol (the company who created Big Brother) and featuring quirky questions on carbon cutting.
Hosted by national stars Jeroen Pauw and Menno Bentveld, ten Dutch celebrities will be tested on their environmental knowledge. The programme promises to be one of the biggest media events of 10:10:10 and viewers in The Netherlands can check it out here.
But that's not all: there's also been a breakfast show takeover on Radio 1 Netherlands, and a call centre in the Endemol studios to help every citizen to reduce their own emissions. Everyone who signs up to 10:10 through this hotline will also receive a specially developed "My 10:10" planner, created by Microsoft.
Although I'm already getting out of breath here there's more to tell you. Events are going on up and down the country including:
All in all, it looks like The Netherlands is raising the stakes of what can be done by a country on 10:10:10. Can anyone else top it? Keep watching to find out.
