The first 20 people to be given advice each day will receive a wind-up torch to remind them of their experience and be encouraged to sign up to the 10:10 campaign as individuals. Residents will also be able to enter a free prize draw to win one of ten Megarider month-long travel passes, or ten different environmentally friendly prizes for their home or garden.
The event will run from 6 to 11 September in Renaissance Shop in Victoria Street, Grimsby. Our officers, along with the Energy Saving Trust and Humberside Fire and Rescue will also be visiting parts of Cleethorpes during the week to speak to residents about fire safety and security, energy saving, grants, entitlements and other ways to save carbon and cut down on their bills.
Everyone is welcome to visit our area, join in the fun and help spread the word in your own communities. If you can't make it over for this, look out for information on future events running in 2011.
