The opinions and voices of the general public are vital to strengthening the bridge between women, poverty and climate change. Climate change is a global problem and it requires immediate global action to mitigate and to adapt to these changes.

It is on record that every known law on environmental safety has been violated in Nigeria especially in the Niger Delta region where a high volume of natural gas is flared.

Moreover, an average of one oil spill occurs every week, and in the delicate ecosystem of the Niger Delta, these oil related accidents cause’s grave damages to the environment and all that it harbors.

We at 10:10 Nigeria will work to ensure a clean and safe environment, encourage everyone to reduce their emissions, call on government and politicians to cut emmissions and provide safe livehoods.
