More than half of the Danish population use district heating systems and many could save up to £140 a year if they switched off properly over the summer. 10:10 Denmark and Copenhagen Energy have made it their mission this summer to help people do just that. In the UK, the team had a grand total of 244 schools apply to take part in the Solar Schools project! We're still busy on the phones calling all applicants and finding out about all the incredible things schools are already doing all over the UK to cut their carbon. More news soon.

In the UK, the annual Battle for the Bills has commenced: 20 MPs have now been drawn from the parliamentary version of a hat and will get to table a policy they’re passionate about (yes, we're talking about the Daylight Saving Bill). So, have you emailed your MP yet? If they’re not one of the lucky 20, they might be friends with someone who is!
