Any individual, family, business or organisation can make the cuts - and by working together we can make a real difference.

news round up

This week, we've received (and look forward to sending you) a huge delivery of books full of tips on how to launch community  energy projects, and take our hats off to 10:10 schools for their never-ending commitment and energy!

  • At last! We just got another shipment of community energy books coauthored by 10:10ers Mal and Duncan. We're shipping all outstanding orders immediately and would like to thank you all for being so patient! Want a copy? Drop us a line.
  • 10:10 Bangladesh is looking for volunteers and case studies to show the country's collective carbon-cutting successes. Contact Ishita if you're game!
  • Lots of energy-saving home renovations are all about cutting edge technology, but sometimes people just need a place to hang their washing. Check out this article.
  • And more goods news from our schools: 10:10 staffer Amy joined Kendrick School for a day of carbon-cutting fun to launch the school's 10:10 commitment. 400-or-so students followed Amy's every word in the celebratory assembly. Meanwhile, Solar School Newnham Croft raised another £900 for their solar roof in a sponsored run!
  • And last but not least: Why taking public transport is sometimes good for the soul (look out for the guy in the orange jacket who wonders whether he is in some kind of happy parallel universe!). Thanks for sharing, Loco2!
