10:10 Netherlands has been busy putting up their very own electricity meters to measure the country's big effort to reduce electricity consumption on 10 October and beyond.

These lovely 10:10ers call themselves 'the tough women' and usually get together to fight for social responsibility and sustainability. On 10 October, they'll be part of the 'Wat done jij uit" campaign of 10:10 Netherlands and will be switching off everything from their hair straighteners to their TVs.

Earlier this week, we kicked off the People's Project. If you can't join us at Pitch Pledge Party on Monday at the Guardian in London, this is your chance to give your favourite project a boost.
