As we enter the fourth week of our 10:10 activities for the blind people, here is a small re-cap of what has been done so far:

-
We started in five countries – Russia, Poland, Belarus, Turkey and Romania, with a simple message (above) “10:10 everyone’s at it – join us!”
-
Even though we worked with all age groups, spending time with children was by far the most rewarding!

-
Education is key – we allocated time to explain the 10:10 campaign and why is it important to cut carbon. We told them interesting and inspiring stories of how anyone can lower their carbon footprint with simple changes in everyday behaviour
-
Children helped us write these – the three Rs – reduce, reuse, recycle

-
We spent a lot of time in the nature, walking, talking, exchanging ideas and examples of how to cut carbon, and what will be the positive effect on the nature

-
We talked about 10:10:10– the global day of doing, and everyone expressed their wishes to participate in the Tree Planting Challenge

-
In order to do that, we will need a little help from their friends as well!

We are looking forward to our next get together, when we will talk about their first cutting carbon experiences!

...and don't forget Hellen Keller's words - "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!"
