It's a busy week for all of us at Balkan & Adriatic Region, and we have another important organization commiting to 10:10. The Belgrade City Library is the largest lending library in Serbia. It includes 13 municipal libraries from the territory of the City of Belgrade. 

Its holdings consist of almost 2,000,000 items kept in 74 facilities with a total area of 13,000 square meters. Their commitment to 10:10 will include shutting down and uplugging electronic devices when not used and during nights, weekends and holidays, switching to energy saving light bulbs, introducing a paper recycling collection box and lowering heating during winter by a few degrees C.
