TASKS:

At least three new tasks will be posted every second Wednesday. You will have 10 days to complete tasks (so, for tasks posted tomorrow, the deadline will be Friday, February 18th). You can choose one or more tasks > the more tasks you send in, the bigger the chances for you to win one of the prizes.

 We will always post at least three tasks every second Wednesday, as follows:

• the CREATIVE task - you will be asked to do something creative, like a visual essay, a poster or similar
• the CALCULUS task - you will be asked to calculate something
• the SETUP task - you will be asked to set up or make something

ALL tasks are related to climate change / reduction of carbon footprint.

You are allowed to use all the help you can find - Google, ask your teachers, parents, friends...You can work alone, or you can work in teams - it's entirely up to you.

If you are stuck, you can ask us for help - send an email to 1010teen@1010global with a subject HELP. You will be answered as soon as possible, and at the latest within 24 hours.

SUBMISSIONS:

Since this is an international project, tasks have to be submitted in English. If you submit your results in any other language, we will accept them but we will translate them using Google translator, so the quality of your work might be affected.
We will not grade or mark your knowledge of English.

Each time we post a task we will also post a deadline for submission. You will have more than enough time to complete the task.

PRIZES:

We want as many of you involved as possible, so we have prepared plenty of cool prizes for you. Each time we post task(s) we will also be posting list of prizes with photos. Photos will represent the actual item - so what you see is what you get. We will also write the name of the company/ producer, and size (if relevant). We will try and have as many Fair Trade / organic / low carbon prizes as possible.  We will ship prizes to any country in the world - please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery. If you receive a prize, we will send you an email asking for your address. Once the prize is shipped to you, you will be notified by email. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Bigger prizes will include brands like Accessorize, MNG, InterRail, LUSH, Apple, Sony Ericsson, HP, Timberland, Swatch, Amazon.com vauchers and many more. (Prizes for tasks that will be posted tomorrow will feature, among others, products from LUSH, Accessorize and MNG/ Mango)
