Style Notes

Hello! Welcome to the 10:10:10 Style notes

We have developed a range of logos for 10:10:10  which are downloadable here

This page  will contain other graphics as they are developed in an editable form (so you can get them translated) (e.g. 10 Steps to a... , posters etc.)

The regular 10:10 style guide is available here http://downloads.1010uk.org/style/1010StyleGuidelines.pdf and is part of a style guide pack which is available here which has lots of useful resources for designers (e.g. logos, colours etc)

The things you need to consider are:

  • using the 'style' of 10:10 (not the usual earthy 'green' branding, very positive and eyecatching (e.g. the 10:10 pink is an advertising gift in terms of getting people to look at it from far away and there are lots of graphic elements ready made for your use).

  • using the same style as people right across the world and connecting with that visibility and network, which will enhance your campaign and make your supporters feel part of a global movement.

  • making it appropriate in a country or region, (for example - certain colours might have other relevance in a particular country, perhaps connected in people's minds to a political party, movement or big commercial advertising campaign. , e.g. orange in Ukraine)

The 10:10:10 logo has been designed to fit into the rest of the regular 10:10 branding so you can use the assets we have already developed, which are described and linked to on the 10:10 graphic resources page.

Its perfectly okay to break the rules with good reason, but the idea behind keeping the 10:10 logo clean and identifiable is that this builds up into a recognisable brand which makes your event and organisation more powerful. Making it look different (e.g. adding things to it... especially things coming out of the middle of the 0’s, makes it look less recognisable and will weaken the identity and your event).

The design team here in the UK is always happy to look over things and give advice about following the style guidelines. You can email ayesha@1010uk.org
